Locations

The physical environment we work in plays a fundamental role in our methodology and in ensuring the success of a workshop. We make use of a portable environment when we take Matter on the road and work in temporary venues, such as conference centers, hotels, etc. When possible, we also use our own two fixed environments – in Rome and Bologna.

In Rome, we can host up to 45 people for collaborative workshops, up to 55 for formal meetings or presentations. Our environment is filled with light, with music, with books and toys, and with the traces of the countless workshops we have hosted.

In Bologna, our design studio can be re-configured to host workshops for up to 32 participants. The space is overflowing with artifacts of countless design assignments, setting the tone for collaborative work in which everything speaks.

Both the Rome and Bologna environments are less than 20 minutes from their respective airports.
